Aeterna exists because plenty of very good Italian venues have no way of reaching a client in America, and that client has no way of finding them.
How This Started
A sixteenth-century monastery in Umbria might host four weddings a year and have no website in English. A family estate in Puglia might take bookings by phone, from people who already know the family. Neither of them shows up in an international search.
Aeterna was set up to close that gap. We know the properties and we speak to them in their own language, which turns out to be most of the work. There's no contracted list and no paid placement. Every shortlist is built from the brief we're given.
Aeterna is Latin for eternal, which in Italy is closer to a description than a claim. Plenty of the places we work in were already old when the family that owns them now took over, generations ago.
