What to Expect
How does your service work?
We start with a free call, usually half an hour, to get the numbers and the dates straight. Then we search and come back with three venues we've checked. If you pick one, we negotiate and handle the contract.
What does the venue finding service cost?
Free if you book through us. The venue pays us a commission, normally around 10% net of VAT, and it doesn't change the price you're quoted. If you use our research and book on your own, there's a flat consultation fee, agreed before we start. Full event planning is quoted separately.
How far in advance should I start?
For weddings, 12 to 18 months is comfortable, and more if you want a specific week in May or September. Corporate events usually need three to six months. If you're later than that, ask anyway, because sometimes a date has just come free.
Do you only work with venues in certain regions?
All twenty. We don't work from a contracted list, so there's no region we have any reason to steer you toward. Every shortlist gets built from the brief, wherever that points.
Do you provide full event planning?
Yes, we do. We find the venue and we coordinate the event itself, with suppliers we've worked with before. Mention it on the first call so the quote covers everything from the start.
